While attending Hampton University, Shiedha began to grow her clientele while serving as a captain on HU's "Blue Thunder" cheer-leading squad ("Hoo'rah!"). After obtaining her degree, Shiedha took her passion for makeup artistry and began working for international makeup brands and training under numerous celebrity makeup artists along the way.
Her areas of experience include work with national and international publications, TV + Film, Press + PR, Celebrity + Red Carpet, Media Tours, Professional Photogrophy, Lifestyle, Corporate, Beauty Education, Personal + Key Makeup, and of course, BRIDAL!
In 2012 Shiedha created her company, Hellooo Gorgeous to fill the need of onsite Bridal makeup in Washington, DC and beyond. Over the last 10 years, the team has collectively worked with more than 1,000 weddings, internationally.
